Trinasolar, a global leader in smart PV and energy storage solutions, will showcase its comprehensive “Smart Solar and Energy Storage Solutions” product portfolio at this year’s The smarter E Europe and Intersolar Europe in Munich, including energy storage systems, mounting systems, and a wide range of PV modules at booth A1.170. Highlights include the new integrated storage platform Elementa 2 Pro, the Shield extreme climate solutions, and the latest version of the n-type i-TOPCon Honey module, along with other innovations.
Integrated BESS Solution Trina Storage Elementa 2 Pro
The latest generation of Trina Storage’s integrated energy storage platform, Elementa 2 Pro, provides enhanced efficiency with high-performance, in-house 314Ah cells, delivering up to 15,000 cycles for long-term reliability and performance.
The 5MWh system features a robust triple-layer safety design — including fire detection, suppression, and explosion prevention—for maximum safety in even the most demanding environments.
Engineered for compactness and flexibility, Elementa 2 Pro offers high energy density with a reduced footprint (side-by-side/back-to-back layout) and low noise levels (≤70 dB)—ideal for urban or industrial sites.
Its advanced hybrid cooling system and intelligent temperature control keep cell temperature differences within ≤2.5°C, boosting performance, extending system life, and reducing O&M need.
Shield Extreme Climate Solution for Rooftop and Ground-mounted Projects
Vertex S+ Shield (NED9R.28) is Trinasolar’s rooftop solution for extreme weather conditions. Designed for residential and C&I rooftops, it features n-type i-TOPCon technology, thicker glass and optimized frame design for increased hail resistance and improved load capacity. Its compact size (1.76 × 1.13 m) and enhanced durability make it ideal for high-risk environments with snow, wind, or hail.
For ground-mounted installations, the Shield extreme climate solution combines the robust Vertex N Shield (NED19RC.20) module with either the Vanguard 1P tracker or a fixed-tilt mounting structure. Engineered with thicker glass and an optimized frame design, the solution withstands hail up to 75 mm, mechanical loads of +8000/-6000 Pa with the fixed structure and +3600/-3000 Pa with the tracking system. It also endures snow loads up to 2.2 m. Integrated smart stow functionality and real-time weather monitoring provide both structural protection and optimized energy yield in harsh climates.
A New Honey Module Built to Replace and Perform
The new Honey NEG9M4C.26 module is designed as a modern replacement for earlier Trinasolar Honey modules and other similar 60-cell format products. Compact, durable, and easy to install, it’s especially well-suited for revamping older systems and deployments in tight or space-limited rooftop environments.
Powered by advanced n-type i-TOPCon technology, it combines dual-glass protection, excellent high-temperature performance (−0.29%/°C), and broad inverter compatibility to ensure seamless integration into both legacy and new systems.
Powering sustainability with Smart Solutions
Trinasolar will also showcase the full Vertex N portfolio for utility-scale applications, alongside the Vertex S+ module family, designed for a wide range of residential and C&I rooftop scenarios.
In addition, visitors can experience the complete mounting structure portfolio, including FixOrigin fixed tilt structures as well as single row and dual row tracking systems, namely Vanguard 1P and Vanguard 2P. All systems are engineered to deliver high performance in various complex terrains and challenging climate conditions across Europe.
Gonzalo de la Viña, President Europe at Trinasolar, said: “We look forward to presenting both our latest product developments and a technology roadmap that reflects Trinasolar’s commitment to innovation and long-term technological leadership in the renewable energy industry. The trade fair is also a valuable opportunity to connect with our partners and customers, understand their evolving needs, and explore how we can support their projects — whether through high-efficiency systems, flexible hybrid solutions, or future-proof designs built for resilience and sustainability.”
